Job summary

E-Space is seeking an Avionics Engineering Lead to oversee electronic hardware and FPGA firmware development for LEO satellites. Based in Saratoga, CA, you’ll manage a team of Electrical and FPGA engineers, drive development and test, and ensure high reliability electronics for space environments.

The role requires 5+ years of EE management and 10+ years in electronics development for aerospace, with a strong background in power, digital, and analog design and FPGA practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Electrical Engineering management experience overseeing teams of 6+ engineers.
  • 10+ years in new electronics product development, test, and flight in aerospace.
  • Expertise in power, digital, and analog circuit design, simulation, and testing.
  • Expertise in high reliability electronics and FPGA development and test practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of engineering work by 8+ Electrical and FPGA engineers through development, test, and delivery.
  • Plan and track engineering tasks and communicate status to leadership.
  • Ensure Avionics standards and best practices are applied to deliver high-quality products meeting requirements.
