Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in California seeks an Antenna Systems Engineer to design, test, and integrate antennas and RF front-ends for space and ground links. You will own end-to-end RF performance from ADC to antenna and collaborate with RF, systems, calibration, and software teams for lab validation, chamber testing, and on-air performance.

The role requires hands-on EM design, RF system analysis, and deployment of testing pipelines using HFSS, CST, and AWR.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize antenna and array architectures to meet RF system goals.
• Own end-to-end RF performance from ADC/DAC through RF front-end to antenna radiation.
• Use EM and RF design tools to simulate performance and mutual coupling.
• Collaborate with calibration, software, DSP, ASIC, and validation teams on system strategies.
• Define and maintain antenna specifications at module, aperture, and system levels.
• Support prototype builds, chamber testing, and on-air validation.
• Write design reports and present results to leadership and partners.
• Develop and deploy code to support testing, simulation, and validation.
