Job summary

Asimov, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Scientist for the Lentiviral Vector Cell Line Development team.

You will engineer stable producer cell lines for LV therapeutics, optimize upstream processes, and contribute to scale-up using Ambr15 and Ambr250 systems. Qualifications

PhD or equivalent with hands-on LV production experience in industry.
Extensive viral transduction experience including T-cell transduction and gene expression analyses.
Experience with Ambr15/Ambr250 or benchtop viral vector bioreactor processes.
Downstream purification or genome engineering related to virus production is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform LV stable producer cell-line development: transfection, pool generation, cloning, characterization, and cell banking.
Assess LV preparations for quantity, potency, and infectivity.
Support novel workflows and cross-functional collaboration across LV CLD, Synthetic Biology, and Process Development teams.
Contribute to process development, scale-up, and LV analytical assay development across Ambr systems.
Design experiments, analyze data, troubleshoot, and maintain detailed records.
Represent LV CLD on project teams and communicate results and plans.
