Qualifications

MS/PhD in Biological Engineering, Virology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
7+ years hands‑on biopharma with 4+ years in lentiviral vector CLD
2+ years leading direct reports and providing technical guidance
Proven track record balancing bench leadership with platform roadmapping
Experience communicating technical work to external stakeholders
Publications/patents/conference presentations demonstrate external communication
Experience with downstream purification, PQ, T-cell transduction assays, and related genome engineering is a plus
Ambr/benchtop bioreactor experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Set and steer the scientific roadmap for the Lentiviral Vector CLD platform.
Develop stable producer cell lines for lentiviral vectors and manage related workflows.
Serve as primary technical contact on customer and commercial projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team and set high standards.
Represent CLD in cross‑functional and leadership teams; communicate progress and plans.
Support innovation through new workflows and applications.
Contribute to viral vector production methods to improve quality attributes.
Collaborate with Synthetic Biology and Process Development teams.
