Asimov in Boston, MA is seeking a Scientist to join the Lentiviral Vector Cell Line Development team. You will lead LV stable producer cell line development and upstream process optimization, collaborating across Synthetic Biology and Process Development to advance gene-therapy programs.

The role emphasizes hands-on LV transduction, flow cytometry, ddPCR/qPCR analyses, and experience with Ambr systems or benchtop bioreactors.

Qualifications

PhD/MS/Bachelors with relevant LV experience in industry.
Experience with viral transductions and assays (ddPCR/qPCR).
Experience with Ambr15/Ambr250 or benchtop bioreactors is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

Perform LV stable producer cell line development including transfection, pool generation, cloning, characterization, and cell banking.
Assess quantity, potency and infectivity of LV preparations.
Develop novel workflows and applications for LV CLD.
Support projects to develop viral vector therapeutics with enhanced quality attributes.
Collaborate with other teams (Synthetic Biology, Process Development) on LV CLD.
Contribute to scale-up and characterization across Ambr15, Ambr250, and benchtop systems.
Design experiments, analyze data, troubleshoot, and maintain records.
Represent LV CLD on project teams and communicate results and plans.
