Job summary

Wellby Financial in Texas seeks a Sales and Recovery Specialist to deliver an outstanding lending experience through digital applications, outbound calls, and debt recovery from charged-off accounts.

You will pre-qualify opportunities, negotiate payment plans, process payments, and maintain accurate records while building strong member relationships and cross-selling lending products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3–5 years financial services or sales experience.
• Proven experience in lending sales within a credit union or financial institution.
• In-depth knowledge of Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Unsecured Loans, and Home Equity/HELOC products.
• Strong understanding of lending regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to obtain an NMLS license.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Bondable.

• Communicates underwriting decisions with a sales/service mindset.
• Originates loans through digital platforms and inbound/outbound calls.
• Cross-sells after-market products like GAP insurance and credit life/disability insurance.
• Advises on complex loan scenarios across Personal, Vehicle, Unsecured, and HELOC products.
• Cross-sell additional loans and deposit accounts based on needs assessments.
• Maintains pipeline of loans and meets/exceeds goals.
