Job summary

Progressive is seeking a lending process strategist senior/lead (Level20) to design and implement operational processes for Oriel, a new personal loan product, while supporting contact center operations and regulatory compliance.

You will work cross-functionally with product, technology, legal, and compliance to scale processes and establish a robust operational foundation for long-term growth in Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business process (end-to-end process development, process design).
• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in business process (end-to-end development, design).
• Background in consumer lending or banking operations with regulatory knowledge.
• Experience documenting processes and developing knowledge management content.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence or similar BPM tools.

As a lending process strategist senior or lead with Level20, you'll develop and implement the business process and operational procedures needed to support Oriel, our newly launched personal loan product. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with product, technology, legal, and compliance to translate business needs and new product features into effective operational processes, while supporting contact center operations, knowledge management, and regulatory compliance. As Oriel continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to shape how the business operates, build scalable processes, and help establish the operational foundation for its long-term success.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH (Office Location: 800 W St Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, OH 44113) with free parking. Work-from-home days are possible for this position (Monday and Friday).

Minimum qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 8 years experience in business process (e.g. end-to-end process development, process design, etc.)
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years experience in business process (e.g. end-to-end process development, process design, etc.)

Preferred skills

• Background in consumer lending or banking operations, including knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
• Experience in process development and implementation, including policies and operational procedures
• Hands-on experience in knowledge management and developing process documentation
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, or similar business process management and documentation tools
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams

Compensation

• $100,000 - $130,000/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
