Simmons Bank is seeking a Lending Origination Specialist I to support post-close review of commercial and agricultural loans, including reviewing closing documents in the loan documentation system.

This role emphasizes compliance with applicable laws, regulations and bank policies, along with related administrative tasks. Strong reading, writing and document interpretation skills are essential.

High school diploma and MS Office proficiency are required; loan operations experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memorandums.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and/or legal documents.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

The Lending Origination Specialist I performs a variety of administrative tasks to support post close reviewing of commercial and agricultural loans, includingreviewing all closing documents through the loan documentation system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• - Reviewsclosing documents forcommercial and agriculture loans in the loan documentation system.
• - Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
• - Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
