Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau's FBFCU is seeking a Loan Officer to assist members in lending, teller, and general member services roles. You will work to process applications and provide friendly, professional service while following established policies.

Responsibilities include analyzing problems, researching discrepancies, and ensuring new accounts and loan applications are completed accurately. A strong credit mindset and adaptability are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bondable and credit report showing fiscal responsibility per FBFCU policy.
• Prior consumer lending, teller, or member/customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist FBFCU members in lending, teller, and general member service roles.
• Assist members in a friendly, professional manner.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude in complex situations.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies.
• Process and complete new account and loan applications following established policies without error.
• Develop knowledge of consumer loans and new account applications.
