Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior leader to manage the Lending Authority Management team within Business Banking Credit Services in Minneapolis. You will design and implement a new Lending Authority framework for underwriters, driving efficiency, risk controls, and scalable processes.

You'll directly lead a team of 3 to 5 professionals, set goals, mentor staff, and participate in hiring and training. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of credit policies and analysis principles.
• Proven ability to assess asset utilization and performance.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of a new Lending Authority framework for underwriters.
• Champion transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and standardization across credit support functions.
• Identify gaps in lending authority coverage by product/region/seniority.
• Establish and monitor a Lending Authority control framework within risk appetite.
