Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriter for Lender-Placed Insurance (LPI) to support underwriting execution, risk evaluation, pricing analysis, and portfolio monitoring of LPI products such as Mortgage Hazard, Auto CPI, Blanket/VSI, and Flood.

The role reports to the Vice President of Underwriting and collaborates with the AWLS team, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive sound underwriting decisions and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in LPI or lender-placed insurance and related lines.
• Ability to assess risk, interpret loss data, and advise underwriting decisions.
• Educational background aligned with business, finance, or economics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk selection, pricing, and program structure within authority.
• Support underwriting guidelines, pricing assumptions, and portfolio actions.
• Analyze portfolio performance, loss trends, audits, and KPIs.
• Refer complex accounts to senior underwriting leadership with recommendations.
