Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager – Leisure Sales to drive growth across the Hawaii portfolio. This role focuses on wholesale, consortia, and travel advisor accounts, building relationships and executing strategies to increase room nights and revenue.

You will partner with Area Sales leadership to tailor hotel-specific plans and collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing to optimize opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in hospitality, hotel sales, travel industry, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Previous hotel/travel sales exposure is advantageous but not required for strong candidates.
• Four-year or two-year degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience collaborating with customers, clients, or partners in a professional environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Hawaii visitor industry and/or Hawaii hotel market is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with wholesale, consortia, retail travel advisor, and leisure sales partners.
• Serve as day-to-day sales contact for assigned accounts under Area Sales leadership.
• Understand each partner's business model and Hawaii sales opportunities; tailor strategies accordingly.
• Represent Highgate Hawaii at sales calls, trade shows, and events as assigned.
• Drive account strategy and measurable growth in room nights and revenue.
• Support promotions, campaigns, and partner marketing with Area Sales leadership.
• Monitor account performance and communicate opportunities to leadership.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the Hawaii portfolio and differentiate each hotel.
