Job summary

The House Majority Caucus in Dover, Delaware is seeking a Legislative Aide to provide administrative and constituent-facing support to two or three members. You will conduct research, draft briefings and communications, manage scheduling, handle casework, and assist with committee and legislative work.

• Professional judgment, discretion, and ability to represent members at meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze legislative issues; track legislation; prepare member briefings.
• Manage constituent inquiries and maintain relations; provide information.
• Attend Committee meetings and support the group and members.
• Represent members at meetings and events; collect information.
• Draft speeches, articles, letters, and other communications.
• Liaise with state agencies, officials, Governor’s office, and the public.
