CivicPlus is seeking a Supplement Proofreader I to ensure legislative and legal content is accurate and publication-ready in both online and print formats. You will proofread editors’ work, integrate legislative material into unified documents, and uphold content quality for municipal clients.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer and communication skills.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new technical subject matter quickly.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Word required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proofread legislative material and legal documents for accuracy and style consistency.
• Apply problem-solving and independent judgment when working with municipal law content.
• Interpret legal subject matter and ensure it is placed appropriately within a unified document.
• Work with legal information in an organized outline format.
• Actively participate in departmental and team meetings.
