Job summary

State of Colorado seeks a Legislative Aide to provide administrative, communications, and constituent services support for a legislator in the Colorado General Assembly. Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage calendars, deadlines, and constituent inquiries with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day functions of the legislative office.
• Own and manage the legislator’s calendar and schedule meetings with constituents, stakeholders, and lobbyists.
• Answer phone inquiries and respond to constituent emails; track and assist with requests and casework.
• Draft and send newsletters; create social media content related to official duties.
