Job summary

State of Colorado is seeking a Legislative Aide to support a Colorado General Assembly House of Representatives legislator. The role includes administrative tasks, communications, and constituent services, with policy research and community engagement responsibilities during the session.

The position is hourly with intensive commitment January through May, and may involve remote work at the supervising legislator’s discretion. Insurance and district outreach may be available for Senior Aides.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication to draft clear, professional correspondence.
• Highly organized with ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage calendars, meetings, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day functions of the legislative office.
• Own and manage the legislator’s calendar and schedule meetings with constituents and stakeholders.
• Answer inquiries and respond to constituent emails; track requests.
