Job summary

The Florida Legislature in West Palm Beach seeks an administrative assistant to support a range of public relations and policy operations, drawing on knowledge of Florida Legislature rules and procedures.

The role requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree with up to two years of administrative experience, with experience possibly substituting for education. Residency in Florida may be required for virtual work options.

Job description

State Representative Meg Weinberger is now accepting applications in her West Palm Beach, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.

Salary: Annual $47,364

The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package. This position may be eligible for virtual work. All virtual district employees must reside and work virtually in Florida.

FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE: Pursuant to sections 112.3144 and 112.3145, F.S., this position is required to electronically file a Form 1 – Statement of Financial Interests with the Florida Commission on Ethics within 30 days of hire.
