Job summary

Florida Housing Finance Corporation is seeking a Legislative Coordinator to support its External Affairs team in Tallahassee. You will track legislation, analyze policy, and prepare briefs while coordinating with lawmakers and government officials.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in legislative affairs, strong research and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. This in-person role requires collaboration with the Managing Director of External Affairs and other staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in legislative affairs, government relations, or public policy.
• Knowledge of the legislative process and ability to monitor and analyze legislation.
• Experience researching legislation and preparing analyses, summaries, or reports.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with legislators and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
