Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Managing Partner (General Manager) to oversee all facets of restaurant operations and ensure Legendary Food and Legendary Service are upheld at all times.

You will lead the management team, plan and control budgets, inventory, and labor costs, and maintain compliance with liquor laws. The role emphasizes training, hiring, safety, and a strong guest experience within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years or more as a GM, MP, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service concept.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and handle stress in a high-volume environment.
• Managing Partners are required to make an initial monetary deposit and enter into an employment agreement.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing compliance with employment policies with support from the management team.
• Directing work of the management team, setting weekly schedules, and assigning restaurant areas.
• Managing performance, evaluations, coaching, and discipline of management.
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring management and hourly staff.
• Overseeing food, labor, and liquor costs and ensuring safety standards.
• Managing weekly and monthly P&L and inventories and budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
• Maintaining restaurant cleanliness and security measures.
• Developing key employees and providing training on policies and practices.
