Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role emphasizes flexible shifts, strong attendance, and executing merchandising and checkout duties with care for birds and poultry.

Experience is not required; retail or farming knowledge is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with reading, writing, and counting abilities essential

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education : A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work shifts with varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer; Uncover Needs & Wants; Recommend Product Solutions; Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandising tasks.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate forklift (if allowed).
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Maintain poultry care and safety in holding tanks.
