Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Thomaston, GA is seeking a Team Member to engage customers and fellow associates while supporting selling initiatives and completing assigned tasks with a focus on a Legendary Customer Experience.

You will handle cash, assist customers with loading purchases, participate in merchandise recovery and plan-o-gram tasks, ensure safe poultry handling where applicable, and be flexible with shifts.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Reading, writing and counting abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend product solutions, and ask to add value.
• Operate cash register/computer and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandising sets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate forklift (age 18+).
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
