Job summary

Career Consulting Partners is seeking a hands-on Legal Technology Manager for a premier law firm in Sherman Oaks, CA. This role serves as single point of accountability for practice technology, digital operations, vendor oversight, and system migrations.

You will train attorneys and staff, manage case management, DMS, e-filing, and billing software, enforce data security, and drive workflow automation with external providers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing technology in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Deep familiarity with legal practice software and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Strong vendor/MSP management and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for core legal tech (case management, DMS, e-filing, billing) and troubleshoot issues.
• Design and deliver practical software training for attorneys and staff; oversee user access controls and account lifecycle management.
• Standardize digital file structures, ensure backup procedures, and enforce strict data security and confidentiality compliance.

Our client, a premier law firm, is seeking a hands-on Legal Technology Manager to serve as the single point of accountability for all practice technology and digital operations. Functioning as a blend of technologist, internal trainer, and project manager, this role drives system optimization, vendor oversight, and firmwide technical efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

• Direct day-to-day support for core legal tech (case management, document management, e-filing, billing) and troubleshoot software/hardware issues.

• Design and deliver practical software training for attorneys and staff; oversee user access controls and account lifecycle management.

• Standardize digital file structures, ensure backup procedures, and enforce strict legal data security and confidentiality compliance.

• Manage relationships with external IT providers, software vendors, and licensing agreements while coordinating hardware maintenance.

Requirements:

• 3+ years managing technology in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.

• Deep familiarity with legal practice software, e-filing portals, and IT infrastructure; exceptional ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.

• Strong organizational skills, self-directed project management, and solid vendor/MSP management skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Salary Compensation Range: $70,000 - $100,000 +
