Wordsmith is building the legal operations platform for in-house teams, and we are growing fast. We are focused on embedding the platform into how legal work operates, with customers benefiting from AI-enabled automation and structured workflows.

As a Legal Solutions Engineer, you will lead implementations, design tailored workflows, and advise on best practices while collaborating closely with legal teams and product teams to deliver real value. This is an in-office role based in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal tech, legal operations, or process transformation.
• Strong understanding of how in-house legal teams work.
• Ability to manage customer projects and guide stakeholders through change.
• Comfortable working across legal and technical domains.
• Structured thinker who can turn messy processes into clear systems.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation projects for new customers.
• Design workflows and automation tailored to each organisation.
• Configure the platform to support real legal use cases.
• Work directly with legal teams and Legal Ops leaders to understand how they operate.
• Translate legal processes into structured workflows and AI-enabled automation.
• Advise on best practices for implementing legal technology.
• Support onboarding and early adoption; help customers expand into additional workflows and use cases.
• Partner with Account Management to identify growth opportunities.
• Surface patterns and recurring requests to Product and Engineering; influence product evolution.
