BoostDraft is seeking a Junior or Senior Account Executive to help drive revenue growth in the U.S. market. This is an exciting time to join our team as we near the completion of our product-market fit process and prepare to scale our business in the U.S.

About BoostDraft

BoostDraft is a software engineering company that develops the AI-assisted legal document editor that drastically changes the legal drafting world, eliminating overlooked inefficiencies.

The company was founded two years ago by MIT and Stanford grad students, starting with the Japanese market. Within three years, we have grown to more than 8,000 paid users, without any marketing. 17 of the top 20 largest law firms in Japan are using our software. Most of our users are coming from word of mouth. We have several long-term, large-scale contracts with renowned enterprises and law firms. As a result, we achieved significant success, including profitability and exponential growth, all without relying on external funding for nearly four years.

Now we are entering the US market. Although we see some differences between the Japanese market and the US market, the reaction from US legal professionals has been very positive, stating that BoostDraft is game-changing. This position reports to the Head of Enterprise Sales or VP of Sales, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to establish and lead our business in the United States.

As we expand into the US market, we've received encouraging feedback from American legal professionals. Nonetheless, it's important to acknowledge that there are nuanced differences between the Japanese and US markets that we're navigating. While we have gradually and steadily expanded our presence in the US without investing in marketing thus far, we're now ready to elevate our efforts to the next level. To achieve this, we seek the expertise of a motivated sales professional capable of hunting for new clients.

What you will do:

  • Identify potential clients in law firms and corporate legal departments.
  • Use various sales tools (ZoomInfo, Apollo, etc.) and initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, emailing, networking events, and social media.
  • Conduct sales meetings and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in CRM and effectively follow up on leads saved in the pipeline.
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in one of the following:
    • End-to-end enterprise software sales
    • Legal tech sales
    • Selling to law firms
  • Strong track record in lead generation and cold outreach.
  • Expertise in managing sales pipelines and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

Nice to have -

  • Channel partnerships experience.
  • Proficiency with sales tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in building and managing channel partnerships.
  • Familiarity with the legal tech sector or experience working with law firms.

  • Comfortable with frequent business travel and networking at conferences or industry events.
  • Open-minded and culturally aware, with the ability to work seamlessly within an international team.

Interview Process:

  1. Introductory call with a recruiter (15 - 30 minutes).
  2. 1st Interview with the CSO (30 - 60 minutes)
    ※verbal case study may be conducted.
  3. 2nd Interview with the Strategy and Operations Manager.
  4. 3rd Interview with the CRO.
  5. Final Interview with the CEO (30 - 60 minutes)
    ※please note that additional interviews may be conducted due to time constraints.
  6. Offer.

Compensation Package:

Basic Salary (60-80k) + Sales Commission
※not entirely fixed.

Employment Type:

Consignment contract for the first 3 months, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
