The mission of the Department of Law is to serve the citizens of Georgia by providing legal representation of the highest quality to state agencies, officers, and employees, and by fulfilling the constitutional and statutory responsibilities of the Attorney General. The position filled through this announcement will serve in the Consumer Protection Division (CPD).
The primary duties of this position are to provide legal administrative support for the Deputy and section's attorneys. Responsibilities include managing case files, preparing and mailing correspondence, preparing pleadings and documents for court filing, e-filing, managing court date calendars, arranging copying and mailing, responding to citizen and attorney phone calls, working in the CMS system, and performing other administrative functions as assigned.
