Job summary

Latham & Watkins in Orange County seeks an Associate Recruiting Specialist to drive recruiting for the summer program, campus outreach, and entry-level hiring, building relationships with law schools while developing management skills. This role offers hybrid work with in-office presence.

You will coordinate interviews, maintain recruiting records, monitor budgets, and prepare statistics for the Recruiting Committee, while supervising coordinators during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services.
• Minimum five (5) years of cumulative recruitment experience.
• Ability to coordinate recruiting efforts and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting efforts focusing on the summer program, campus outreach, and entry-level hiring.
• Build relationships with target law schools and participate in recruiting events.
• Support compliance by staying informed about federal and state legislation and monitoring recruiting budgets.
• Collaborate with team to implement marketing strategies and prepare recruitment statistics/reports.
• Oversee work of coordinators and assistants; provide feedback and staffing support during peak periods.
• Protect confidential information handled by the firm.
