Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP in New York seeks a Legal Recruiting Associate Administrator to support the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager in planning and executing the summer associate program and the firm’s 1L, 2L and 3L recruiting strategies. You will engage law schools, coordinate onboarding, and manage interviews and materials.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and two years of legal recruiting experience, with strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of legal recruiting experience.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager.
• Coordinate and plan all aspects of the summer associate program (events, trainings, work assignments, reviews).
• Help maintain accurate records for the summer program.
• Assist with summer onboarding and orientation.
• Attend summer program events as required; coordinate mid- and end-of-summer reviews.
• Coordinate 1L events and sponsorship opportunities; serve as firm ambassador.
• Coordinate 1L and 2L recruiting materials and processing of applications and callback decisions.
• Schedule callback interviews; assist with hiring meeting materials and follow-up efforts.
• Maintain LawCruit database with accurate records; assist with Fall onboarding.
