The Legal Recruiting Associate Administrator serves as a key liaison between the firm, law students and summer associates. This role supports various aspects of the law student recruiting and summer associate programs, from initial candidate engagement through post-offer activities, while helping ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates and summer associates. The Associate Administrator works closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager, Legal Recruiting Administrator, and other administrative departments to support the firm’s recruiting initiatives and Summer Associate Program.Duties and Responsibilities:STUDENT RECRUITING:Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys and law student candidates throughout the recruiting process.Schedule screening, callback, and other candidate interviews; communicate schedule changes, greet candidates, and coordinate in-office interviews.Maintain recruiting databases and candidate records, ensuring information and status updates are accurate and current.Partner with the Legal Recruiting Manager to track interview evaluations, hiring targets, candidate activity, and other recruiting data for the Hiring Committee.Assist with planning and executing on-campus, virtual, and in-office recruiting programs, including law school presentations, events, attendance tracking, and related logistics.SUMMER PROGRAM:Partner with the Legal Recruiting Administrator to maintain comprehensive tracking of summer associate work assignments and performance evaluations throughout the program.Assist with and attend summer associate events and programs, coordinating event logistics and providing on-site support as needed.Coordinate summer associate orientation, including drafting pre-summer communications, updating orientation materials, coordinating signage, and collaborating with other administrative departments.Availability to work extended hours during peak periods and attend summer and fall events, as needed.Education and/or Experience:Required:Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited college or universityTwo years of recruiting experience in a law firm environment or equivalentPreferred:Law firm experienceLaw school recruiting experienceOther Skills and Abilities:The following will also be required of the successful candidate:Strong organizational skillsStrong attention to detailGood judgmentStrong interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work harmoniously and effectively with othersAble to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretionAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities#LI-KG2#LI-HybridThe target salary range for this role is:$70,000 - $80,000 if located in IllinoisSalaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
