The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, candidate development, and close collaboration with the Practice Leader to move searches from kickoff through placement. You will identify legal talent, make outbound calls, cultivate relationships with passive candidates, and align opportunities with career goals while growing your scope

Qualifications

• Legal knowledge required.
• 1+ years of recruiting experience preferred; strong in-house or law-firm recruiting will be considered.
• Comfortable with proactive, phone-driven recruiting and reaching out to passive candidates.
• Organized and consistent, able to manage multiple searches and follow-up without losing momentum.
• Polished, professional, and relationship-focused when communicating with attorneys, partners, and clients.
• Motivated by performance, commission upside, and opportunity to grow within an established legal practice.
• Ohio or Midwest location preferred.

DRI is looking for an experienced, relationship-focused recruiter to join our Legal Solutions Group. This is an opportunity for someone who already understands legal recruiting and enjoys the candidate side of search - sourcing, outreach, relationship building, and helping legal professionals navigate the right career move.

Legal recruiting is relationship-driven and highly proactive. Your day will include identifying legal talent, making outbound calls, building relationships with passive candidates, learning what motivates them, managing follow-up, and partnering closely with the Practice Leader to move searches from kickoff through placement.

The Role

• Legal Recruiting: Identify and engage attorneys and legal professionals through outbound calling, sourcing, networking, referrals, email, and targeted outreach.

• Client-Facing Growth: Take on account management and client interaction based on your experience and interests.

Who We're Looking For

• Legal experience/knowledge required.

• Ideally 1+ years of recruiting experience; agency/search experience preferred, but strong in-house or law-firm recruiting backgrounds will be considered.

• Comfortable with proactive, phone-driven recruiting and reaching out to passive candidates.

• Organized and consistent, with the ability to manage multiple searches and follow-up without losing momentum.

• Polished, professional, and relationship-focused when communicating with attorneys, partners, legal leaders, and clients.
