Job summary

Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns, LLP in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced full-time Legal Practice Support & Operations Specialist to strengthen training and knowledge management across all practice areas. You will build structured onboarding, SOPs, and centralized resources, working with attorneys and support staff to drive consistency and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of law firm operations across multiple practice areas.
• Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding legal support staff.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and training for all legal assistants and paralegals across the firm's practice groups.
• Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day follow-up meetings with new legal staff, identify gaps.
• Coordinate continuing education and refresher training for legal support staff.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflow guides, checklists, and instructional resources.
• Partner with attorneys to document best practices and maintain knowledge resources.
• Ensure training materials stay current as procedures and court requirements evolve.
• Coordinate conflict check workflows and assist with matter intake procedures.
