Job summary

Crystal Clean LLC seeks a Legal Operations & Risk Management Specialist to develop and optimize processes supporting the Legal Team's efficiency, cost control, and performance. The role provides cross-functional legal and compliance support across the Company and partners with Insurance, Finance, and Outside Counsel teams.

The position requires organization, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of legal and compliance operations
Experience in insurance matters-coverage, endorsement, etc.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Ability to present a professional image of the Company

Responsibilities

Support the organization insurance program (coverage, certificate of insurance)
Maintain the Legal Matter management system with reporting and classification
Provide support on legal projects requiring legal input
Review legal spending and budgeting for insurance programs; coordinate payments
Assist Outside Counsel management including tracking spending and billing practices
Identify and implement process improvements within Legal Team operations
Create master agreements
Assist with mergers and acquisitions including due diligence and APA negotiation
Support legal governance and entity management
Draft, implement and review policies
Manage insurance applications, supporting documentation and reports
Manage insurance vendor relationships
Receive, review, negotiate, and execute NDAs
Perform other duties as assigned
