Title: Legal Operations Manager

Position Type: Full-time

Reporting Location: Remote

Schedule: 8am-5pm PST, Mon-Fri

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000/year

Start Date: March 15, 2025

Overview

Verdani Partners is actively recruiting a highly qualified Legal Operations Manager to support our Operations and Business Development teams. The role involves managing internal and client contracts, reviewing and negotiating agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and overseeing related legal matters across our portfolios. The successful candidate will act as a liaison with legal counsel, manage contract execution, and monitor contractual compliance.

Responsibilities
Primary:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with legal counsel.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to address legal issues and manage contract needs.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage client, operational, HR, and facilities contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to contractual agreements.
  • Ensure contracts comply with legal and organizational policies.
  • Oversee contract signing processes and maintain organized contract records.
  • Draft new contracts and maintain tracking systems for contract management.
  • Provide monthly contract status reports.
Secondary:
  • Advise on improving contract management and minimizing legal risks.
  • Communicate contract procedures within the organization and train staff.
  • Foster positive relationships through excellent contract management.
  • Engage in business development activities such as client outreach, research, proposal writing, and presentations.
Qualifications

We consider candidates with a proactive attitude who meet some or all of the following:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Paralegal Studies, or related; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience in contract administration or similar roles.
  • Understanding of contract law, company operations law, IP law, data privacy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and legal technology tools.
  • Certifications such as CCMA or CCCM are a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently.
Platforms & Software

Proficiency in Adobe, MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Working Conditions

Primarily desk-based work involving computer use, occasional light physical activity, and indoor office environment. Reasonable accommodations available.
