Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to support the Office of General Counsel. You will manage processes, technology platforms, data reporting, and vendor/invoice oversight to improve efficiency and enable data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes administration of platforms, development of dashboards, and collaboration with internal teams and outside counsel. Remote work may be possible; strong privacy and compliance practices are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in legal operations, administration, or related roles.
• Experience with legal and procurement tech platforms, such as matter management and e-billing.
• Preferred: Brightflag, LogicGate Risk Cloud, or Workday Strategic Sourcing.
• Data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and BI for performance improvement.
• Notary public is preferred; or willingness to become one.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of OGC processes and workflows.
• Administrate OGC technology platforms, including access and configuration.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and trend analyses to support operations.
• Coordinate vendor and outside counsel management, including invoicing and spend tracking.
• Maintain records, assist audits, and uphold privacy and compliance standards.
