Job summary

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) invites qualified JD/LLM students or recent grads to join its Spring 2027 Internship Program. The internship offers experience in election and campaign finance matters, contract work, and privacy law research, with opportunities to attend meetings and contribute to training materials.

Interns must be located in the United States and commit to 20 hours per week. The program runs January 11, 2027, to March 19, 2027, with an in-person, hybrid, or remote

Qualifications

• Enrolled in JD or LLM program at a ABA-accredited U.S. institution.
• Commitment to 20 hours/week and eligibility for internship.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and fact-finding on a variety of topics.
• Draft organized documents including emails, legal memoranda, training materials, and presentations.
• Work with Legal team to develop internal policies and processes.
• Attend internal and external meetings as needed.
• Support contracts workflow via research, templates, and initial review of basic contracts.
• Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned.
• Attend onboarding/offboarding sessions.
