Welcome to the DNC Internship Application! The DNC is accepting applications for our Spring 2027 Internship Program!
Interning at the DNC is a unique opportunity for hardworking, passionate future leaders to gain real life, hands-on experience in Democratic politics, strengthen their understanding of the political process, and prepare them for future political opportunities.
The program will run from January 11, 2027, to March 19, 2027, and will be conducted in an in-person, hybrid, or remote format. Interns based in the Washington, D.C. area will have the opportunity to perform in-person work for the DNC at the Democratic National Headquarters and DNC events. You must be located in the United States to apply for this internship.
The DNC Internship Program provides a $3,700 stipend. Housing is not provided. During the upcoming term, interns are expected to work 20 hours per week or up to the required number of hours for a documented and approved institutional program.

This internship is limited to current law school students and recent graduates. Do not apply if you are an undergraduate.
The DNC Legal team provides accurate and timely advice to the organization on a variety of legal topics relevant to a national party committee and its political activities. This includes advising on election and campaign finance matters, litigating voting rights and election administration issues, negotiating contracts, working on employment and labor issues, researching privacy law and creating training presentations.
