Job summary

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) offers a Summer 2027 Internship Program in Washington, DC, with in‑person, hybrid, or remote work formats. The internship supports the Legal team on election and campaign finance matters, contracts, privacy law, and training materials.

Open to current JD or LLM students or recent graduates (within two years). The program runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with a $3,700 stipend and a requirement of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a JD or LLM program at an ABA‑accredited US institution
• Graduated with JD/LLM no more than two years before start date
• Currently enrolled in a non‑legal graduate program (for dual track)

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and fact‑finding on diverse topics
• Draft organized memoranda, emails, training materials, and presentations
• Collaborate with the Legal team to develop policies and processes
• Attend internal and external meetings as needed
• Support contracts work flow through research, templates, and initial review
• Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned
• Attend mandatory onboarding/offboarding sessions
