IGS Energy is seeking a Legal Intern to work directly with our attorneys and paralegals on projects supporting daily operations and long-term initiatives. You will gain exposure to the inner workings of a corporate legal department while contributing meaningful work.
Responsibilities include legal research, drafting documents, maintaining records, and assisting with administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are law students with strong writing and communication skills.

As a Legal Intern, you will work directly with IGS attorneys and paralegals on projects that support daily operations and long-term business initiatives. You will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of a corporate legal department while contributing to meaningful work.
Conduct legal research: Perform basic legal research and analysis to support legal matters and business needs.
Draft legal documents: Assist in preparing and revising legal documents and written materials.
Maintain legal records: File, organize, and manage legal documentation.
Review content for accuracy: Edit documents and perform fact-checking activities.
Support daily operations: Complete administrative tasks and assist the in-house legal team with ongoing priorities.
Hands-on experience in a corporate legal department
Exposure to attorneys, paralegals, and in-house legal operations
Experience with legal research, analysis, drafting, and document management
Opportunities to strengthen writing, communication, and professional judgment
Currently pursuing a law degree from an accredited law school, preferably a 1L or 2L student
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research databases
Excellent reading, writing, and grammatical skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment

$31,200.00 - $62,400.00
