Job summary

Mee Derby & Company is seeking a Legal Full-Desk Recruiter to build and grow a nationwide legal staffing desk in a fully remote role. This entrepreneurial, full-cycle position blends business development with recruiting, offering autonomy and the support of an established staffing firm.

You will own the desk, develop new business with law firms and corporate legal departments, and recruit attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful legal staffing or legal search experience.
• Proven full-desk experience, including both business development and recruiting.
• Demonstrated success placing attorneys and other legal professionals within law firms and/or corporate legal departments.
• A track record of measurable production, including billings, gross profit, placements, and new client development.

Responsibilities

• Own the full desk, managing the full recruiting lifecycle from prospecting and new client development through candidate recruitment, placement, and relationship management.
• Develop new business with law firms, corporate legal departments, and other employers of legal talent nationwide.
• Recruit and place attorneys, paralegals, legal operations professionals, legal secretaries, litigation support professionals, and other legal talent.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and candidates while developing a strong pipeline of new opportunities.
• Negotiate client agreements, fees, and terms with meaningful autonomy over how you develop your desk.
• Meet revenue, gross profit, placement, and client-development goals while operating with a high degree of independence.

We’re hiring an experienced Legal Full-Desk Recruiter to build and grow a nationwide legal staffing desk. This is an entrepreneurial, full-cycle opportunity for a proven legal staffing professional who enjoys both business development and recruiting and wants the autonomy to build their business while having the resources and support of an established staffing organization.

What You’ll Do
