The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC in Bakersfield is seeking a File Clerk to support the Criminal Defense Department with filing, retrieving files, mail distribution, copying, scanning, and creating new files for contracts. The role reports to the assigned Criminal Defense Attorney and works as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of Excel experience, and at least 1 year of office experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher).
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel: editing, sorting/filtering, and saving spreadsheets.
• 1+ years of office experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to ensure the preparation of documents.
• Organizing, distributing, or tracking documents according to departmental procedures
• Provide mail to departments and individuals
• Ensure the filing, preparation, and scanning of documents and correspondence.
• Keep detailed records of all incoming documents and file them accordingly
• Assist with all administrative tasks.
