Job summary

Vodafone is seeking an experienced legal professional to draft, review, and negotiate a broad array of commercial agreements while ensuring regulatory compliance across operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Sales. The role requires strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, including litigation experience, and leverage your Greek and English language proficiency to navigate international matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in the telecommunications industry and in competition law is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited law school; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, including litigation and drafting/negotiating commercial agreements.

• Provide legal guidance and ensure compliance across departments on regulatory changes and industry trends.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with partners, suppliers, and clients.

What you’ll do

• Draft and have ready for execution by the Company’s board of directors or other senior stakeholders of all appropriate corporate documentation, ensuring that appropriate internal approvals have been obtained prior to execution.
• Provide legal guidance, support, and ensure compliance across various departments, including but not limited to Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Sales, advising stakeholders on regulatory changes and industry trends specifically with regards to competition law, health & safety, anti-bribery and AML legislation.
• Work with company’s relevant departments
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (partners, suppliers, corporate clients, sponsorships, public procurement contracts), as well as other legal documents.

Who you are

• Experience in the telecommunications industry and in competition law is considered a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited law school (Master’s degree is considered a plus)
• 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, including experience in litigation (civil, criminal and administrative) and drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
• Member of Greek Bar Association
