Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned attorney to provide legal counsel to product and business teams supporting Adobe Acrobat. You will advise on generative AI technologies, assess risks, and help shape product strategy while ensuring compliance and brand protection.

You will collaborate with product development, privacy, IP, and other counsel, develop trainings for engineers and sales-legal groups, and negotiate technology licenses and partnerships to advance business objectives.

• Build positive relationships with product development teams
• Review products, business strategies, and initiatives for legal compliance and provide practical advice
• Coordinate with privacy, antitrust, intellectual property, and other subject-matter attorneys
• Develop and deliver materials and trainings for engineering, program management, and sales-legal groups
• Draft and negotiate inbound and outbound technology licensing and partnership agreements

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership
• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience
• Software and online services industry experience
• Proficiency negotiating and drafting intellectual property agreements, including inbound and outbound technology licenses, development agreements, online services agreements, and terms of use
• Familiarity with privacy and data security issues and compliance
• Prior experience with user-generated content services and mobile app development strongly preferred
• Technical background or strong interest in software products and development preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with colleagues and clients across time zones
• Ability to provide practical and theoretical advice and demonstrate creative problem‑solving and business instincts
