In-house and law firm experience is preferred; in-person work is required.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in law firms and in-house with a technology / consumer electronics company.
  • Strong background in contract and commercial law; exposure to consumer technology business preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Job description

As the Legal Counsel, you are responsible for providing legal support to the Razer business housed in our Irvine office, to support its long-term business goals and objectives, consistent with the legal strategy of the parent company. This position requires both seasoned business and legal judgment while serving as a member of the regional legal team.*Essential duties and responsibilities:** Draft, analyze, negotiate and complete complex commercial transactions with the firm's enterprise customers and strategic partners.* Collaborate with the Product, Sales and Marketing, Customer Advocacy, Human Resources, and Finance teams to achieve key business objectives.* Work with stakeholders on data privacy and security, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters.* Assist with creating, optimizing, and implementing processes and policies.* Provide training to the company on relevant legal topics.* Handle commercial contract disputes.* Working knowledge of AI enterprise models being integrated in workflow.* Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications:*To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
