Job summary

LHH is seeking a Corporate Law focused Legal Counsel to join its Columbus, Ohio-based Legal Department. The role covers corporate, commercial and business law matters with opportunities to participate in related litigation.

You will interact with senior leaders, provide trainings to stakeholders, and help expand the practice across related areas such as governance, contracts and compliance. Qualified candidates have at least two years of legal experience, Ohio Bar licensure or waiver, and a

Job description

LHH Legal Recruitment's s client, an International Manufacturing Company, is looking to add a Corporate Law focused Legal Counsel to its Legal Department. The ideal candidate will have a high level of responsibility on Corporate, Commercial, and Business Law as well as Litigation matters.

The role offers the opportunity to regularly interact with key leaders of the Organizations, provide trainings to stakeholders, and expand into practice areas outside of purely Corporate Law. Existing experience or willingness to learn some of the following areas will be crucial to success in this role: commercial and product liability litigation, labor and employment, intellectual property, government contracts, antitrust, real estate, insurance, construction, and/or bankruptcy.

Qualified Candidates will;

• Have at least two (2+) years of legal training, firm or in house legal department, in the areas of Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts
• Any experience in corporate governance issues or M&A is a plus, but not required
• Be a team player
• Have Ohio Bar Licensure or ability to waive in
