LHH seeks a Corporate Counsel of Operations to serve as a strategic legal advisor to two key business divisions in Arizona. You will work closely with division leadership and the General Counsel while gaining broad exposure to the business and a wide range of legal matters, with opportunities for advancement and growth.

The role covers commercial transactions, regulatory matters, and day‑to‑day operations, with collaboration across Compliance, HR, Finance, and Operations to strengthen risk

Qualifications

• J.D. and AZ Bar in good standing.
• Strong background in transactional and corporate matters.
• Ability to advise on regulatory and compliance issues.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise division leadership and GCs on legal, regulatory, and business matters.
• Counsel on commercial contracts, supply chain, product liability, IP, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Partner with Compliance, HR, Finance, Operations, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Support compliance programs, investigations, audits, and risk management.
• Manage outside counsel and legal resources.
• Drive improvements in legal operations, processes, and risk mitigation.
• Support strategic company initiatives with a lean, solutions‑oriented mindset.

Job description

LHH is seeking a Corporate Counsel of Operations to serve as a strategic legal advisor to two key business divisions. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded attorney to work closely with division leadership and General Counsel while gaining broad exposure to the business and a wide range of legal matters and the opportunity for advancement and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Advise division leadership and GCs on legal, regulatory, and business matters.
• Provide counsel on commercial contracts, supply chain, product liability, intellectual property, compliance, and day-to-day operations.
• Partner with Compliance, HR, Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support compliance programs, investigations, audits, and risk-management initiatives.
• Manage outside counsel and legal resources.
• Drive improvements in legal operations, processes, and risk mitigation.
• Support strategic company initiatives with a lean, solutions-oriented mindset.

Requirements:

• J.D. and active AZ Bar membership in good standing.
• 4+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house.
• Strong background in commercial transactions, corporate law, and business counseling.
• Excellent judgment, communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters while balancing legal and business priorities.
• Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or a regulated industry, as well as exposure to international legal matters and global compliance.
