This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable taking ownership of sophisticated transactions and can manage M&A matters with a significant degree of independence, but who is not interested in developing a book of business of their own.

• Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions from letter of intent through closing
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements and related transaction documents
• Advise business clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and general corporate matters
• Work directly with business owners, executives, and other key decision-makers
• Collaborate with a sophisticated team while maintaining substantial client contact and autonomy
• Ability to be a Senior Attorney or Non-Equity Partner at the outset, depending on experience level

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Five or more (5+) years of corporate and transactional experience, including meaningful exposure to M&A
• Ability to independently run deals and manage transaction timelines
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills
• Admission to practice in Ohio or ability to obtain admission
• Option to be on site in Columbus, OH, hybrid, or remote
