Job summary

Pond Lehocky Giordano Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Case Status Manager to join our Pittsburgh, PA team. The role focuses on monitoring case progress, maintaining records, coordinating with attorneys and staff, and ensuring timely client updates in a fast-paced workers’ compensation and disability law environment.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple cases while upholding strict confidentiality and accuracy in the firm’s case management system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a legal, case management, administrative, or client service role preferred.
• Experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize deadlines, and follow through on tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues before delays.
• Professional, empathetic client communication approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor case progress and ensure files remain current and accurate.
• Review case records to identify outstanding documents, pending actions, and potential delays.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and team members to obtain updates and move cases forward.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, outstanding information, and next steps.
• Track important deadlines, appointments, hearings, and case milestones.
• Follow up with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties to obtain information.
• Maintain accurate documentation of case updates and communications in the firm’s case management system.
• Escalate issues to appropriate team members as needed.
• Assist with workflow management to ensure cases progress efficiently through each stage of the legal process.
• Prepare status reports and provide updates to attorneys and leadership.
