Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Legal Billing Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of billing guidelines and procedures; 3E experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with eBilling systems such as Legal Exchange, Bottom Line Technologies, TyMetrix and Counselink.
• Experience with BillBlast or Ebilling Hub.
• Understanding of accounting and legal principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and issue client invoices per specifications.
• Submit electronic invoices through eBilling portals, such as TyMetrix and Legal Exchange.
• Investigate and resolve eBilling submission issues to ensure timely submission and approval.
• Maintain and update billing guideline information in the accounting system and eBilling platforms.
• Process and submit appeals for invoice write-downs.
• Complete special projects, including assisting AR and billing attorneys with invoice status updates.
• Respond to attorney and client billing inquiries promptly and professionally.
