Success in this position depends on strong collaboration with internal teams and leaders, strict adherence to quality standards, and a consistent focus on meeting deadlines and deliverables. Project Specialists must also proactively identify and communicate issues, contribute to process improvements, and uphold high standards of documentation and service.

Position Responsibilities

  • Handle complex consumer inquiries across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines as directed by the Project Manager (PM), Associate Project Manager (APM), and Supervisors.
  • Actively implement feedback from leadership and peers to improve performance and output.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and business partners in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Develop, maintain, and update scripts and procedural documentation to support consistency, accuracy, and project efficiency.
  • Support PMs, APMs, and Supervisors by identifying and resolving operational issues as they arise.
  • Monitor overall project performance by identifying errors, proposing solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school or foreign law degree with a U.S.-based LLM.
  • Work Environment: Must have a dedicated, private, and distraction-free home workspace suitable for handling sensitive and consumer-facing communications.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook/Teams; familiarity with MS Access is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Strong active listening and real-time communication skills are essential.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple, shifting tasks and deadlines in support of dynamic business needs.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions. Must be detail-oriented and quick to learn and apply new information.
  • Documentation: Excellent documentation skills, ensuring all work is recorded clearly, accurately, and in accordance with company standards.
  • Conflict Resolution: Skilled in de-escalating tense interactions, identifying concerns, and working toward mutually acceptable solutions under pressure or during challenging conversations.
