Job Description
- Assist attorneys in preparing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents for workers' compensation cases.
- Manage and update case files, ensuring accuracy in records and compliance with deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather required documentation.
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
- File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Previous experience as a legal assistant
- At least 1 year of experience on the applicant side in workers' compensation
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and professionals.
