Job summary

Sands Anderson PC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Professional Assistant/Front Office Receptionist to join our Richmond office. This fast-paced role supports two attorney practice areas and provides firm-wide administrative assistance.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree or equivalent, minimum of 2 years in a legal administrative role, exceptional client service and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m.

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a legal administrative role.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with PowerPDF or Adobe; experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative tasks including file opening/closing, scanning, copying, faxing, and billing.
  • Process check requests and manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and visitor logistics.
  • Greet and assist visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist with data entry, document organization, and record maintenance.
  • Provide general information and support to clients and visitors.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job description

Sands Anderson is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused Professional Assistant/Front Office Receptionist to join our Richmond office. This dynamic position supports two attorney practice areas and provides firm-wide administrative assistance. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Non-Exempt Position paying $22/hour to $25/hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general administrative tasks including file opening/closing, scanning, copying, faxing, and billing.
  • Process check requests and manage incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
